Meet Drenda

Dear Traveler, precious dreamer,

Have you had the chance to leave the hustle and bustle of your busy life and reconnect with nature, with people and build unique experiences that will last longer than the trip itself? Oh, these days can be long and full but this life is worthy of relishing! I urge you to pencil in the time for family, for beauty and for moments that may pass but memories that will be cherished forever.

I write to you today from a place of love and gratitude. Travel has been a gift in my life and in the lives of so many I serve. I began my own healing relationship with travel after watching my grandparents experiencing the loss of their 2 sons, just 2 years apart. When you are walking through grief, it feels impossible to experience much else – but I learned that they were able to find joy in the distraction, beauty in the fellowship of other travelers, and a new sense of purpose in travel. I would love the opportunity to share this gift with you: the gift of time spent focused on one another and this amazing world we live in.

The moments and experiences created on an adventure in a new place build a new chapter in our stories. Some of my favorite chapters were written as a child with my family. So much so, that the Bentley Travel Design name comes from my grandparents. They instilled a heart for family and adventure in my soul that I am now living out and sharing with others. This heart is also reflected in my participation on the Board of Directors for Wings in Edmond, Oklahoma. Wings exists to enhance the lives of adults with developmental disabilities through social, vocational and residential programs guided by principles of the Bible. My heart is to create extraordinary experiences for the lives I touch. I am honored to be part of the organization that feeds my soul and impacts my community.

It is my desire to give you back the time that has been filled with chores, errands and responsibilities. When we pause, we are able to engage fully and experience living, not just the busy-ness of life. I will handle the business end, I want you to focus on the living!

Sincerely,

Drenda Roberts
